Annette Balaguer was born Annette Walker in Senatobia MS to Juanita Walker-Ross and Hosea Wright. She gave her life to the Lord in 1971. She is the loving and devoted wife of Reverend Ramon E. Balaguer (her knight in shining armor). She is the mother of two boys, Mario Andreas Balaguer and Andrew Markell Balaguer. Annette attends and is active in the ministry at Daniel Circle Chapel on Fort Jackson and First Ecumenical Church in Columbia, SC.
Annette was educated in the Tate County public schools, received an Associate Degree in Applied Science from City Colleges of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. She is a retired military veteran. She realizes that it was by the grace of God that she enlisted in the military and was able to fulfill a childhood dream to travel to different parts of the world. Since childhood she has always had a desire to share what she had with others. She loves to volunteer her time, talent and resources to help others. She currently works as a volunteer at Christ Central Ministries and serves as church secretary for First Ecumenical Church on Main Street in Columbia, SC.
After much struggle, she answered her Prophetic call to enter ministry January 2012. God has blessed her with the gift of helps. She finds it most gratifying to be considered worthy to be called a child of God and to be used by Him in any way He sees fit to advance the Kingdom of God. She is a testament to the fact that God does use broken people. Her favorite scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." And Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
