Pastor Charles Mpagi is proud of the mentorship he obtained from his spiritual father, Apostle Paul Wilson Ssekuwanda. He hails from Magamaga, a Village in Mayuge District of Uganda, East Africa. He was born on 3rd October 1974 to staunch catholic family. He was saved at the age of 19 when he was about to commit suicide as a result of severe sickness and suffering. After entering a covenant to serve the Lord, he was healed miraculously. He was first ordained by Apostle Paul in 1996 for Pastoral work.

Magamaga is a place which was initially bound by high level of witchcraft and sorcery, drunkardness, strong Islamic influence. Being near the Army barracks, many lost their lives during the civil and political wars by that time leaving behind widows and orphans. In 1986, the HIV/AIDS scourge hit the land causing a lot of misery among the people.

Pastor Charles is a man with a passion for winning souls, binding the broken hearted, raising up leaders, and extending arms of grace to the widows, orphans and needy. He is the international director of CityLight East Africa. He is also the director of Cross Style Ministries East Africa. By the grace of God, he has established 8 leadership training centers and over 100 leaders have graduated.

Pastor Mpagi is the Chairman of Baitambogwe Christian leader’s fellowship comprising of 42 churches of different denominations under the national fellowship of born again Pentecostal churches with the sole purpose of maintaining Unity in the body of Christ. Pastor Charles does crusades, conferences, seminars, overnight prayers, prayer rallies, and prayer walks. He believe in raising up local churches in Urban and rural areas of Uganda especially in Baitambogwe as a sub-county.

Being Senior Pastor of the fast growing Victory Celebration Centre in Magamaga, Uganda he continues to show great enthusiasm for Office God has entrusted to him working with a team of Ministers. Victory Celebration Centre was founded in 1993 under a borrowed tree in some ones Compound and 7 (seven) people congregated during that time. Pastor Charles is married to Agnes and together the Lord has blessed them with 6 children.
