A self proclaimed street minister reaching out to urban inner city homeless and destitute, James Karl Allen Johnson was born in Sandy Run, South Carolina August 26, 1959 to Gloria J. Wright.

James graduated from W.J. Keenan High School and went on to pursue a Nursing education from Georgetown Technical College, but eventually changing to completing his degree in Journeyman Plumbing at Myrtle Beach Technical College and is now attending ITT in Columbia, SC for a degree in Drafting Design.

James is celebrating 30 years of marriage to his love, the former Zanthina Edwards. They have 2 lovely daughters, LaShon and Tambrea.

He began his walk with Jesus in 1980 and 5 years later under Church of God was ordained Evangelist. In 1987 he was ordained and licensed through Sermon on the Mount Deliverance Church of Charleston, SC. In 2008 he started his Street Preaching Ministry attempting to reach the unreachable, the displaced and undesirables going as far as starting a church out of a storage unit at a U-Haul on the corner of Main and Elmwood. Most recently, The Ecumenical Church ordained him in 2010.
