Evangelist Harriet Samuel Smith

Evangelist Harriet Samuel Smith was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Cornelius and Edith Samuel. She is married to CSM(RET) Alphonsa Smith and is the proud mother of three children: Darryl, Rodney and Quanitissa; her pride and joy is her five grand kids. Currently, Evangelist Smith attends Daniel Circle Chapel where she is the Music Coordinator and is a member of First Ecumenical Church.

Evangelist Smith received Christ at the early of 12 at Holy Grove Baptist Church in Jemison, Alabama. In 1977, Harriet was reborn again and since then, she has continued to grow and mature in the ministry. She has received Ordination and License as a Ministry from Calvary Fellowship Church and an Ordination and License as an Evangelist from United Faith Outreach Ministry. Her favorite scripture is:

Psalm 138:8 (New King James Version (NKJV))
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Harriet graduated from Kaiserslautern American High School in Kaiserslautern, Germany. She continued her education at Maryland University where she obtained an Associated Degree in Business. Harriet has received various training in Family Counseling from the United States Army, Family Readiness Program in support of the Soldiers and their families.

Harriet is noted for organizing the Family Life Program at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and travels with the military attending and facilitating classes on Family Life. She has held many positions as a Music Coordinator and Ministry of Music. Evangelist Smith has received numerous awards and recognition for her dedicated service and commitment in the ministry and to the Soldiers that serve the military and their families.

Harriet has worked in Retail for over 30 years and is presently the customer service coordinator for TJMAXX. She is the owner of EXPECIALLLY 4 u CATERING which is a home based business. However, more notably, she has worked as the Church Admin for United Faith and travels from South Carolina to Jamaica, Canada and throughout the United States as an Aid preaching and teaching the word of God. She has organized numerous prayer groups and bible studies to reach, teach and bring others to Christ. Presently, she has organized a Prayer group that prays every morning at 5:30AM called the “Morning Glory”.
